Meet The Vamps: An Interview with British Pop-Rock Group The Vamps

Hopefully, we are approachable.
— The Vamps

Emily Koopman: What has been your strangest fan encounter?
The Vamps: A fan sent us some body hair in the post. [laughs]

Emily: If you were written about in the newspaper, what would the headline say?
The Vamps: Normal Teenagers Step Into a Dream!

Emily: What can you tell us about your forthcoming album that you haven't told any media outlet before?
The Vamps: We haven't named it yet! Oops.

Emily: Do you have a pre-show ritual?
The Vamps: We rub chins together.

Emily: What can fans expect at a live show?
The Vamps: Hopefully an exciting, feel-good performance.

Emily: If you could record a duet with anyone, who would it be, and what song would you choose?
The Vamps: We all have different favourites... but probably I Almost Do - Taylor Swift (James may have answered this for all of us.)

Emily: What's your best quality?
The Vamps: Hopefully that we are approachable.

Emily: If you were stuck in an elevator with your favourite TV character, who is it, and what would you talk about?
The Vamps: Ron Burgundy... We would talk about everything!

Emily: Do you have a favourite childhood memory?
The Vamps: Meeting each other!

Emily: This question is mainly for myself, as I am guilty of being a massive fan: I hear you're heading back to the US in February – any plans on touring in Canada?
The Vamps: We would love to visit Canada, Connor is the only one who's been there out of the band, so hopefully we can visit really soon!
